Teaching Resume

Professional Summery

With 40+ years of teaching experience, I’ve had the pleasure of many venues: my private art program of 25 years called EXPLORATIONS: Classes in Creative Development, public and private schools, universities and colleges, the Omega Institute, Elderhostel and most recently for the Maine Wabanaki-State Truth and Reconciliation Commission.   My experience also includes using art as a tool for healing which has led me to work with incarcerated women, breast cancer survivors, young alcoholics and addicts, at-risk teen girls and abused women. I’ve published two award-winning books on art and healing and have a career as an exhibiting artist. More recently I have created two new books: A HEART STORY and an accompanying Coloring Book version to work through the stages of loss through betrayal. They are available on my Home Page.
